You'll be hard pushed to find an insurance company who will advise you exactly how much cover you need, principally due to liability reasons. The responsibility to take out adequate cover largely falls in your hands, although our helpful advisors will be happy to discuss your options and explain how you can come to a conclusion regarding cost.

Sometimes you may also find that your job stipulates the amount you require. If you're looking for other options, you'll find that many industry organisations and professional bodies will likely be able to offer useful advice.

From standard public liability policies, to policies including additional Insurance such as property damage, stock cover and much more, we've got you covered. If you serve clients away from your salon or in their homes, you will be covered provided you select the option of working away when you fill in our online quote form.

If your policy is over a certain amount, we offer the option to pay via direct debit in manageable monthly instalments. We also offer the option to pay via debit or credit card, or by bank transfer.

In your policy documentation you'll find a direct claim line number, which will also include emergency numbers, .

If you train in new therapies and treatments, you should inform us so that we can look into adding them to your existing policy.

Yes, you simply need to select the limit you require in section 3 of our online form and not select any additional insurance options. However please be aware public liability insurance will not cover if you perform beauty treatments, we strongly recommend you take out additional treatment cover insurance in that case which can also be done via our online form.

Yes, please fill in our online form and add any number of treatments in section 3. Once complete we will start working on your quotation straight away.

Depending on which underwriters we approach you will need either a NVQ level 4 or VCTC LV 4 in laser treatments or to have an accredited qualification and be able to provide evidence of at least 12 months experience (by way of a C.V. and training certificate).

Yes, you can add cover for working away in section 4 of our online form - additional cover. Beauty treatments can be carried out away and in people’s homes provided that the beautician uses single-use gloves/ aprons; that the room is clean and free of rubbish and that hygiene rules are respected, preferably a clinical environment.
